JAKE,
RINGO, DUNCAN AND THE OCTOPUS OBSESSION
Poor
Jake. So many of his toys end up shoplifted by the ferrets and never
seen again.
This
summer I picked up a rubber octopus at the Seattle Aquarium that Jake instantly
loved.
But so did the ferrets. The past few months Duncan and Ringo have
been spotted
numerous
times moving the octopus from the upstairs bedroom closet to
the
lower bedroom closet or vice versa. And, often in the same night,
the
other ferret will bring it back up - or down!
Well
this evening Jake saw Ringo carrying his
his
beloved octopus up the stairs - and grabbed it back!

"Oh octopus I've missed you so!"
"HEY! That octopus belongs to the ferrets!"
"I wouldn't do that, Ringo!"
"GRRRRRRRR!!!"
"You ain't getting it back!"
"Duncan, I already told Ringo - it's MINE!"
"Get it, Duncan! Get it!!"
(Jake looks a little worried)
The ferrets retreat
to the TV cabinet to discuss the situation.
"Ringo, there's two
of, one of him." says Duncan
"Yeah and two of us.
We're FERRETS. We're way smarter than
some big ole dog!"
Ringo replies.
"Hey Jake! Look at me! Want a cookie?
"Oh man, Dunk, you are
I know how to get to the cookies?
SUCH a pig! How am I
Cookies. Mmm. Oh yeah cookies.
gonna do this alone?"
Ringo I give up I'm going to get COOKIES
they're WAY easier to get!"
"An itch! Jake's got an itch!"
"GOT IT! I AM OUTA HERE!!!!!!
FERRETS RULE! DOGS DROOL!"
