These three pictures were taken the day I brought Jake home from the shelter - which was two
days after I'd brought home Oliver.  An eight week old ferret and a ten week old puppy
were quite the match and a constant source of amusement!

The rest of the pictures were taken between December 2001 and April of 2002.
 

(Look again.. he's jumping BEHIND his head not into his mouth! ha ha)
 

                 RUN AWAY, LITTLE FERRET, FOR I AM COMPLETELY INSANE!!!

OUCH!  That's gonna leave a mark!
 

Confucious say: "Huge puppy paw, sharp baby ferret teeth lead to big ouchie!"

   "Oliver?  Oliver?  Where'd you go??"
 

"OK! OK! DOGS DROOL, FERRETS RULE! NOW LET GO! OWWWW!"
 

And here we are, September 2003 - all grown up and still the best of pals.
Notice how much Oliver's coat lightened up (and thankfully for Jake, so did his biting!)
